Up Tempo is great.

I loved the "Ruins" and love this just as much. You did great.

DrMackFoxx responds:

That's great to hear! Great to hear, indeed. :) Thanks a lot, as always, for the great review and I'm very glad that you really liked this track!

Like the song, hated that game.

I hated Sonic 3D Blast, it irritated me, but I liked the music from it. I liked Sonic Adventure better, and it felt better for Windy Valley. You did a great job however, kudos on another excellent remake.

DrMackFoxx responds:

I think it's safe to say that the music was a lot better than the game play of Sonic 3D, especially on the Sega Saturn version of the game. :)

Man, it's always great to hear when you've enjoyed mine and John Weeks' collabs. Thanks once again for another great review! :)

Hydrocity!!!! Act 2!!!

Loved this song, and that stage. There were so many different paths, you could play if a differently every time you played, no matter who you used. When playing as Sonic though, I loved spin dashing and rolling on top of the water at fully speed. You could collect so many rings and crush so many enemies doing that. Thank you for reminding me of those fun moments.

DrMackFoxx responds:

Great to see someone who did enjoyed that level. :) I did too, but I can't remember how many lives I lost and "Game Overs" I got because of that blasted moving wall at the beginning of the stage! Yarrg...

I'm very happy that you enjoyed this song so much! Again, I thank you for stopping by and leaving a great review in your wake. 'Tis always and greatly appreciated. :)

Didn't like Sega's Version of this Song much.

But I love this one. Sega's sounded too plain, it was just way too plain. This has a nice feel to it, and I would enjoy hearing while I'm playing Sonic 2. If John weeks has a midi of the scrapped Sonic 2 "Hidden Palace Zone" theme, which was used as the 2 player theme for "Mystic Cave Zone", you should definitely redo that one, it would be just, amazing.

DrMackFoxx responds:

Hidden Palace Zone and the Mystic Cave Versus BGMs? Now that I think about it, those would probably work very well with my piano/electronic arrangement. I'll have to keep those in mind! Certainly quite cool when someone says your remake is better than the original. :)

Yet again I say: thank you very much for the review and I'm glad you enjoyed this tune!

Mack is the Mack

I'm glad Weeks gave you permission to use his stuff, because it just sounds awesome with the piano added. Good upload.

DrMackFoxx responds:

Working with John Weeks has been great. :) Believe it or not, I actually did my first rearrangement of one of his songs back in 2001. The track in question? "Sonic- Twinkle Cart Piano" I finally got up the courage to ask him if I could further modify his work and release the rearranged pieces. I'm happy to say that he agreed, so long as I give proper credit to him. I only wish you could list multiple authors in Audio Portal submissions like you can in the Flash Portal, know what I mean? Well, there certainly will be more of these collaborations in the near future.

One again, thank you very much for the excellent review and I'm very happy that you really enjoyed this song. :)

Another great remix.

Your renditions of these songs are getting better, I need to start getting back on here more often. Kudos.

DrMackFoxx responds:

Well, always good to hear when you're getting better at something. :) I certainly have learned how to rearrange these tracks to a greater degree than when I first started out. Glad you enjoyed this track and thank you very much for taking the time to leave another great review. They are always appreciated. :)

Favorite MM3 Song

I realize this is years old, but thank you for making this and posting it. Man, I just relived playing that game when I was younger, and again on the Anniversary Disc. Man, if only the song sounded like this, I would have definitely played much harder.

You already know...

Big improvement on the Beta, just waiting to see what other themed tracks you come up with.

DrMackFoxx responds:

Well, thank you again for another great review! :)

Loops good.

I don't have much to say other than it's great. I already like the full length version, so there is no way I could vote this one down. Can't wait to see what else you're cooking up.

DrMackFoxx responds:

Well, that's very good to hear. :) I do have another song in the works. Thank you very much for taking the time to leave another review on my work. I really appreciate it. :)

You did it again MAN!

I was excited when I saw that you'd finished this. I'm happy with it, it sounds like it would very much fit in a MMX game. Too bad Capcom didn't have someone like you composing their music. Not saying that they didn't have awesome soundtracks, but you'd probably have made them better than what they are. Great Job, and keep up the good work.

Instant Classic.

DrMackFoxx responds:

Thank you very much! I'm very glad that you enjoyed this completed version of Reploid Deployment. :) Granted, it would be fun to work on the soundtrack to an official Megaman X game. In fact, my next original track is going to be another Megaman X-themed tune.

Thank you very much for yet another excellent review! I really appreciate it. :)

I'm working on a multitude of different things, but you'll mostly find me on Youtube under the channel name "The Game Idea Guy". I share my video game ideas and thoughts on a regular basis.
